Charles Taylor Morey was an artist, musician, professor, husband, father and grandpa. He was also a deeply flawed human being who rose to great heights of success, crashed spectacularly, and won the love and respect of everyone he knew.

This production was a labour of love by the Morey family from start to finish. Adrienne initiated and sponsored the project, conducted several of the interviews and provided project management. Margie conducted several more interviews, and together with Shawn, contributed essential direction to the narrative structure. Dunstan performed and produced all the music (except for the banjo track at 5:50), and composed everything except After You’ve Gone, Lonesome Road, and Dad’s own compositions, Allegro a la jazz, and Ol’ Mose He Kick da Bucket. Veronica wrote the words to Berkshire Elegy, which was composed years earlier as a tribute to Dad. Drew shot and post-produced the film.
